    Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Miriam ventured to the North Bay to complete her college education in 2005. In May of 2008 she will graduate with a degree in Sociology and Studio Art with and emphasis in Photography.

    Her photographic work is primarily concerned with the function of memory. She documents the nuances of personal nostalgia and continues to question the way we remember places, events, and people. She brings to light the elegance and at times the humor of the mundane.

    She also carries over these concerns to intaglio printmaking and installation based art.
