LOVE SUCKS ‘09

I can totally remember the last Love Sucks show I attended. It was years ago at what used to be Clo’s Creamery. It was the first and last time I ever went to a show at that old venue, and I thought it was amazing - an intimate little bar with a full stage set up and great sound. All I remember about that night was that Benton Falls was playing a set, and it was phenomenal. I think I was going through some love related turmoil at the time, and their melancholic songs really just hit a chord. I’ll always remember the feeling at that show, the sharp pang of nostalgia making me miss a time when shows were really fucking good in Sonoma County.
And alas, the show goes on. This year Love Sucks returns with a top notch lineup, complete with old Sonoma County favorites and a few newly acquired ones. Make no mistake, this show will be amazing.
